The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018. This text has created new obligations for companies like Vertical that process personal data and new rights for the people concerned by this processing, in particular the right to be forgotten and the right to data portability.
Vertical is in a constant process of compliance with the GDPR, and therefore offers its services in a secure and clear legal framework.
Vertical has always attached great importance to the protection of personal data and the entry into force of the GDPR is an opportunity to strengthen this protection for the benefit of its clients. It should be noted that Vertical acts as a subcontractor for its customers in the provision of services. It is therefore also the responsibility of the latter to ensure that their operations comply with the GDPR, in particular with regard to the collection of personal data which are then transmitted to Vertical.
Among the measures implemented by Vertical to comply with the provisions of the GDPR, the following may be noted:
The appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who is in charge of ensuring internal compliance with the data protection policy.
